Zach Kasik

Owner/CEO - WFR

Zach was born in Nebraska and grew up in South Dakota. He was raised on Southern Rock, Outlaw Country, Blues, and Soul.Â
By 11 years old, Zach and older Brother Kenny Kasik had already begun to make a name for themselves around the midwest club scene with their Southern Rock Band, The Lugnuts. Zach moved to Phoenix, AZ, in 2002 and earned a degree in Audio Engineering from The Conservatory Of Recording Arts.
In 2003 he moved to Los Angeles, where after a two-week internship at Oceanway Recording in Hollywood, Zach was hired full time and spent the next four years working sessions with everyone from Paul McCartney to The Rolling Stones and Dr. Dre. Then he spent six more years freelancing and working with some of the biggest names in the business.
In 2013 he relocated to Nashville and Opened a Studio on a ranch just outside of town; after networking for several years and recording some of Nashville's finest, Zach Moved a few miles down the road and opened Wild Feather Recording on January 1st, 2019.
