Zach was born in Nebraska and grew up in South Dakota. He was raised on Southern Rock, Outlaw Country, Blues and Soul.
By 11 years old Zach and older Brother Kenny Kasik had already begun to make a name for themselves around the mid-west club scene with thier Southern Rock Band The Lugnuts. Zach moved to Phoenix AZ in 2002 and earned a degree in Audio Engineering from The Conservatory Of Recording Arts. In 2003 he moved to Los Angeles where After a 2 week internship at Oceanway Recording in Hollywood, Zach was hired full time and spent the next 4 years working sessions with everyone from Paul McCartney to The Rolling Stones and Dr. Dre. He spent 6 more years frelancing and working with some of the biggest names in the business. In 2013 he reclocated to Nashville and Opened a Studio on a ranch just outside of town, After networking for several years and recording some of Nashvilles finest, Zach Moved a few miles down the road and opened Wild Feather Recording Jan 1st 2019.
